The food is excellent, my first time there I had Shrimp and Grits with Scrambled Eggs they were so good I had to come back and get them again the second time plus I got a order of Jerk Chicken to go for later.
Ordered the cheswold platter and I must say the whiting was really good. I got the collard greens for a side and I felt like I was eating my mothers greens. I definitely recommend this place.
Every dish i ordered was very tasty. Yes, I am going, and I'm taking a few family members . The FISH was very good.

Delicious food and friendly service. First time I went I got curry chicken, reggae rice, and cabbage. Delicious! And they DON'T use pork!!! Second time I got sweet and spicy shrimp (so good!), mac 'n' cheese, and veggie rice. So delicious I forgot to take a picture lol.
This was my first time visiting and I am only mad that I didn't stop in sooner! I was welcomed from the time I stepped in. I took a moment to decide what I wanted and sat down looking over the menu. The young lady at the counter came over and was ready to assist me. Very friendly! I was also pleasantly surprised to find out that they do not sell pork. This is definitely a plus for me and I felt safe to order anything off the menu. Great selection of food and there are a tables and chairs so that you could sit down and enjoy the atmosphere. It was also very clean. I appreciated that the lady at the counter went through so much care to wipe off my to-go containers before bagging my food. Also included napkins and forks. When I finally got to sit down and enjoy my food, it was great! It was flavorful and perfectly seasoned and you can tell, it was made with love and "soul". Will definitely be back! Think I may have a new favorite!
I got takeout. Catfish nuggets, mac n cheese and the reggae rice. This was top notch and I will definitely be back to try more.
Pleasantly suprised. I phone ordered two meals, Jerk chicken & Ox tails for pick up-from Mama G’s. My first time ordering, the employee on the phone was very patient with me. This establishment has two restaurants operating out of the same space-Mama G’s & Akhibachi’s. The portions were reasonable, the food was well seasoned, the prices decent, the atmosphere (needs improvement) but not a deal breaker-for me. I will recommend this location to friends and family.
